Howmet Aerospace Inc. is hiring a Processing Tech I, Heat Treat (2nd Shift) in Carson, CA.

The role supports the Heat Treat department with entry-level production tasks such as washing parts, loading equipment, and assisting heat treat operations while following standard work instructions. The ideal candidate will be able to work in an extreme heat environment, be shift-flexible, and participate in required training.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 0-6 months experience in manufacturing.

Mansioni

• Wash and clean parts using designated equipment.
• Load/unload parts from washers, furnaces, and baskets.
• Prepare and stage parts for heat treatment.
• Assist with operating heat treat equipment.
• Follow work instructions and routers.
• Maintain part identification and production lots.
• Move parts and materials safely with handling equipment.
• Record basic processing information and complete paperwork.
