Job summary

Howmet Aerospace in Winsted, CT is seeking a Heat Treat Operator / Finishing Tech for 2nd and 3rd shifts. You will operate heat treat furnaces, ultrasonic degreasing, follow operation sheets and maintain quality records including calibration checks.

Responsibilities include loading, running furnaces, inspecting materials, and performing special processes as needed. Eligible external hires receive a $3,000 sign-on bonus and benefits start day one.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to perform basic math including decimals and fractions.
• Ability to read and interpret operation sheets and reports.
• Experience with measuring instruments and quality records is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate heat treat furnaces and ultrasonic degreaser per operation sheets.
• Set up and run furnaces to requirements and manage production schedule.
• Verify heat treat charts and perform special processes as required.
• Maintain quality records and follow EH&S and Quality programs.
