The role focuses on heat treating aluminum, titanium, nickel-based alloys, stainless steel, and alloy steels, operating furnace controls, and ensuring quality through hardness testing. Requires 1–3 years of manufacturing experience, high school diploma or GED, forklift certification, and strong attention to detail.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 1–3 years of manufacturing experience or equivalent.
• Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisors.
• Basic math including ratios, percentages, and graph interpretation.
• Basic computer skills preferred.
• Forklift Certification meeting OSHA standards required.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with heat treat operations for aluminum, titanium, nickel-based alloys, stainless steel, and alloy steels.
• Follow heat treat schedules to ensure proper processing sequences.
• Operate, adjust, and perform routine maintenance on furnace controllers.
• Batch loads for maximum productivity under operator guidance.
• Set thermocouples and prepare loads for optimal heat distribution.
• Load and unload furnaces safely and efficiently.
• Conduct heat treat process furnace accuracy and uniformity surveys.
• Move parts on and off pallets; perform hardness testing using calibrated equipment.
