Job summary

Howmet Aerospace Inc. in City of Industry, California, is seeking a 2nd Shift Processing Tech III for Heat Treat to join our on-site team. You will operate furnaces, read blueprints, verify parts, and ensure adherence to HT processes, while maintaining safety and quality standards.

The role requires basic English, good math skills, and the ability to follow instructions. Prior heat treat experience and instrument familiarity are preferred, with opportunities for growth within a global aerospace

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write and understand basic English instructions.
• 3+ years’ Heat Treat experience and ability to read blueprints/work instructions.
• Willingness to learn heat treat procedures and use measurement tools.

Responsibilities

• Operate heat treat equipment including furnaces and related tooling.
• Read and interpret process sheets/HTPI for processing hardware.
• Perform Rockwell hardness tests when applicable.
• Monitor instrumentation and ensure proper heating, quenching, and timing.
