Job summary

Qualifications

• 1 year of transferable industry experience.
• Basic reading, math and measurement comprehension.
• High School Diploma or Vo-Tech certificate or associate degree.
• Experience with AMS 2750 pyrometry and hardness testing.

Responsibilities

• Prepare furnace loads according to furnace load map.
• Load forgings into heat treat furnace and remove after heating.
• Set furnace temperature controls for material and process.
• Monitor furnace operation and performance as required.
• Process forgings through quench and cool operations.
• Generate and update reports documenting process parameters.
• Operate hardness testing equipment to determine forging hardness.
