Responsibilities

• Work safely under PPE and functional safety guidelines.
• Adhere to quality processes and in-process inspections.
• Access and interpret DPS/AMS docs and related specs.
• Lift up to 45 lbs (repetitive).
• Perform intermediate racking and loading of furnaces.
• Review furnace charts and adjust patterns as needed per specs.
• Complete process documentation and traceability records.
• Perform basic PM tasks (filters, etc.).
• Operate hoist and assist teammates as needed.

Job description

Working with minimal assistance, heat treat operators perform intermediate heat treat tasks such as pull and verifying DPS/AMS docs, perform equipment set up including furnace burn out, leak test, OPM, loading required recipe, and perform basic equipment maintenance. Which includes inspecting thermocouples, verifying certs, and producing required graphs for quality, demonstrating intermediate knowledge of materials and heat treat processes.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

• Work safely under functional safety guidelines such as PPE and equipment interaction.
• Adheres to quality processes including in-process inspection to ensure compliance with quality specifications.
• Correctly access and interpret documentation (H-Specs, etc.)
• Lift up to 45lbs (Repetitive)
• Able to work overtime as needed
• Perform intermediate racking and loading of product (Furnaces)
• Meet area/product specific production standards
• Complete process and operation documentation (Traceability, etc.)
• Perform basic PM tasks (Filters, etc.)
• Review furnace charts (Audit other operator’s charts)
• Operate hoist
• Adjust furnace controller patterns (Per H-Spec)
• Adjust furnace atmosphere controls
• Work in a team environment, i.e. follow instructions and assist others as needed.
• Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.
