The role ensures safe operation of equipment and controls, maintains temperatures, soak times, and cooling according to specifications, and collaborates with a small team.

The ideal candidate is self-motivated with good communication, able to read instructions and blueprints, and comfortable documenting inspections and results in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Previous heat treat experience required.
• Self-motivated and dependable; able to work with minimal supervision.
• Excellent communication and teamwork.
• Basic computer skills to read and record process data.
• Ability to read work instructions, blueprints, and technical documents.

Responsibilities

• Maintain furnace controls to meet process requirements.
• Inspect parts before and after heat-treating for conformance.
• Read and record computer controls for temperatures, soak and cooling times.
• Document non-conformances and issue rework notices.
• Maintain inspection documentation and lot tracing procedures.
• Participate in 5S housekeeping and workplace organization.
• Other duties as assigned.
