Job summary

TEAM, Inc. is seeking motivated Heat-Treating Assistants to support PWHT and related thermal processes at job sites and in-shop environments.

This entry-level role works alongside certified heat treat technicians to set up, monitor, and remove equipment used for heating materials, including pressure vessels, piping, and weld zones. This position is based in the Reno/Sparks NV area; local candidates or those willing to relocate are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand tools and measurement devices.
• Willingness to travel and work in various environments.

Responsibilities

• Assist in setup, operation, and breakdown of heat-treating equipment.
• Clean and prepare components for heat treatment following safety and client specifications.
• Monitor temperature controllers and data recorders to support certified technicians.
