Job summary

Depot Connect International is seeking a Heat Technician to support operations at our Chesapeake, VA facility. The role involves monitoring heated tanks to meet work-order temperatures and ensuring tanks remain dry when required.

The ideal candidate has a HS diploma or GED, industrial experience, and the ability to work rotating overnight shifts. We offer competitive pay ($19-$21/hr), benefits, and a 5-on/5-off, 2-on/2-off schedule.

Qualifications

• Experience in an industrial environment is preferred.
• Must be able to work a rotating overnight shift.
• Experience with tank maintenance and heating tanks is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills are essential.
• Knowledge of hazardous materials is desirable.

We are searching for a Heat Technician to support operations at the Chesapeake VA facility.

Address: 4141 S. Military Hwy Chesapeake, VA. 23321

Shift: 6:00am - 6:00pm and the schedule is 5 on, 5 off, 2 on, 2 off.

Pay Rate: $19-$21/hr

Essential Functions of the job include (but are not limited to):

• Monitoring all tanks which are required to be heated to a specified temperature per work orders.
• Observe tanks to ensure dryness and will dry tanks when required

Ideal candidates will possess:

• High school diploma or GED
• Experience in an industrial environment
• The availability to work a rotating overnight shift
• Experience with tank maintenance and heating tanks
• Strong organizational skills
• Knowledge of hazardous material
