Job summary

Nestlé in Springville, Utah is hiring a Heat Seal Operator to set up and run heat seal equipment on a fast-paced production line. You’ll monitor temperatures, adjust line speed, and ensure product quality while recording results.

Qualifications

• Basic reading and understanding of English; verbal and written.
• Basic computer data entry is required.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Sets up and operates heat seal machine.
• Changes and loads film.
• Monitors sealing temperatures, air pressure, and sealing times.
• Checks for proper sealing and records findings every 15 minutes.
• Monitors transfer points before and after heat seal to ensure package transfer is completed without product loss.
• Operates Protein Detector machine and documents product rejects.
• Loads pictorials into Kliklok and clears jams.
• Restarts line when line is down.
• Ensures line is set at proper line speed.
• Assists checkweigher with reworks.
• Models the Springville Compass in all work-related activities.
• Performs all other duties as assigned by Team Leader.
