Job summary

Nestlé USA in Springville, Utah, is hiring a Heat Seal Operator for our production line. You will set up and run heat seal equipment, load film, monitor temperatures and speeds, and document results on a regular basis.

This role requires basic English proficiency and a willingness to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Qualified candidates will have a HS diploma or GED, and 90 days of Nestlé manufacturing experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 90 days of food manufacturing experience in a Nestlé factory preferred.
• Must have basic proficiency of English to follow directions, signs, and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Sets up and operates heat seal machine.
• Changes and loads film.
• Monitors sealing temperatures, air pressure, and sealing times.
• Checks for proper sealing and records findings every 15 minutes.
• Monitors transfer points to ensure packaging is completed without product loss.
• Operates Protein Detector machine and documents product rejects.
• Loads pictorials into Kliklok and clears jams.
• Restarts line when line is down and ensures correct line speed.
• Assists with reworks and supports team leadership.
