Qualifications

• MSW from an accredited institution.
• New York State Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• 2+ years of post-licensure clinical work experience.
• Experience providing mental health services to adolescents and young adults.
• Satisfactory equivalent combination of experience, education and training.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct clinical services to adolescents and young adults living with HIV and at elevated risk.
• Provide individual, couples, and family counseling; conduct biopsychosocial assessments; screen for mental health and psychosocial concerns; coordinate referrals for psychiatric care when indicated.
• Participate in weekly multidisciplinary case conferences and monthly program meetings to ensure coordinated, high quality patient care.
• Provide structured clinical supervision to members of the case management and social work team, ensuring adherence to evidence-based practices, ethical standards, and documentation requirements.
• Conduct clinical assessments for participants enrolled in behavioral interventions, contributing to quality improvement initiatives and maintaining compliance with hospital and funding agency standards.
