Job summary

NYC Health + Hospitals/Kings County in Brooklyn seeks a licensed social worker (LMSW or LCSW) for a full-time position in the HIV Program Admin. The role focuses on psychosocial assessments, treatment planning, and patient-centered care for diverse patients.

You will provide individual and group counseling, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, mentor staff and students, and ensure compliance with policies and quality standards. Shifts are 9:00 A.M. – 5:00 P.M. Monday–Friday.

Qualifications

• Valid NY licensure as LMSW or LCSW.
• Clinical social work licensure requirements per NYSED.
• Experience supervising students or staff is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform psychosocial evaluations and develop treatment plans.
• Provide individual and group counseling in hospital settings.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary care teams to plan discharge.
• Ensure compliance with NYC Health + Hospitals policies and QA standards.
