Job summary

Qualifications

• Familiar with gas, pellet, and wood burning hearth appliances.
• Ability to obtain and possess driver's license and insurance.
• Proven written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Adapt to rapidly changing work environments and shift priorities.
• Familiar with operating a computer system and email.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and Excel.
• Experience with diagnostic tools.
• Previous hearth experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and acknowledge every customer.
• Receive and process service requests via multiple channels.
• Diagnose technical problems and determine solutions.
• Provide honest diagnostics, service, and repair recommendations.
• Charge customers for services and parts and process payments.
• Maintain daily service schedules and records.
• Maintain knowledge of hearth products and promotions.
• Visit and service in-store as needed.
• Ensure warranty claims are filed timely and resolved.
