Job summary

Carolina Hearth and Patio, Inc. is seeking an experienced Fireplace Installation & Service Technician to install, service, and repair fireplaces, gas logs, wood stoves, gas lines, grills, and other hearth products.

You will work with seasoned technicians to deliver safe, reliable indoor and outdoor living spaces while providing outstanding customer service. This hands-on role offers hourly pay plus performance-based commission opportunities and the chance to build a long-term career with a

Qualifications

3–5 years of experience in gas line installation, plumbing, HVAC, or related trade.

Responsibilities

Install gas lines, fireplaces, and related hearth products in residential and commercial settings.
Perform inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on existing gas fireplace systems.
Ensure all installations meet local codes, safety standards, and manufacturer specifications.
Connect and test gas supply lines, valves, and fittings for proper operation.
Communicate with customers to explain installation processes and address concerns.
Coordinate with other trades and team members on job sites as needed.
Maintain tools, equipment, and service vehicles in good working order.
