Job summary

Newtown Fireplace Shop seeks a skilled Hearth Professional to diagnose, service, and install gas and wood fireplaces in residential and light commercial settings. You will work independently at job sites and deliver high-quality results with safety and compliance in mind.

You must be an NFI Master Hearth Professional and pursue ongoing manufacturer training, with a focus on "One Visit One Fix" and best practices for clearances and venting. Flexible scheduling and career growth are offered.

Qualifications

• Licensed NFI Master Hearth Professional with commitment to quality.
• Must acquire NFI Specialist Certification in pellet, wood and gas.
• Ability to troubleshoot, test, repair and service fireplace equipment.
• Understand clearance and proper installation techniques and NFI standards.

Responsibilities

• Self-manage installation, maintenance and testing tasks on all job sites.
• Load/unload materials and equipment from trucks to job sites.
• Communicate with Service Coordinators and Hearth Category Management.
• Troubleshoot and repair fireplace equipment to insure full functionality.
• Ensure One Visit One Fix when installing products.
• Follow company field procedures and safety protocols.
• Provide daily installation reports.
