Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a part-time EKG Technician at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital – Cardiovascular Diagnostics in Park Ridge, IL. The role runs PM/NOC shifts with 24 hours per week (0.6 FTE) and a pay range of $20.80–$31.20 per hour.

Responsibilities include performing ECG procedures, Holter monitoring, and data entry, with patient safety and privacy emphasized. Occasional ED rotation, data reconciliation, and collaboration with the cardiology team are expected.

Qualifications

• HS Grad, GED, or equivalent experience.
• 1-2 years hospital related experience or CNA or EMT.
• Ability to work well with others; good organizational skills; good time management.
• Good documentation/record keeping skills; good communication skills.
• BLS certification or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and STAT ECG procedures and enter/edit data in ECG machine.
• Rotate to Emergency Department as scheduled and manage Holter monitor applications/removals.
• Prepare patients, maintain privacy, and ensure quality studies.
• Troubleshoot ECG issues and assist with patient comfort and privacy.
• Distribute studies to cardiologists for review and ensure timely reporting.
