Job summary

Applicants should hold a valid RN license (Illinois) and BLS certification, with a Bachelor's degree and foundational hospital experience.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Illinois.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
• Bachelor's degree required; H.S. diploma or GED acceptable with experience.

Responsibilities

• Assesses patient's status through interview, observation and physical assessment.
• Develops an individualized plan of care with patient/family and care team.
• Uses plan interventions to achieve patient outcomes.
• Documents progress and evaluates care throughout the shift.
• Collaborates with care team to organize tasks from admission to discharge.
• Promotes safety and quality as part of routine nursing practice.
