Northeast Georgia Health System seeks a Clinical Support professional to provide clerical and basic patient-care support across assigned units. You will manage patient records, supplies, equipment, and act as a communications facilitator under the direction of licensed staff.

The role covers adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients, aligning with population-specific guidelines and National Patient Safety Goals. On-site work and a fast-paced environment expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to operate the EMR and basic office tasks.
• Strong communication with patients, families, and staff.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced unit.

Responsabilités

• Obtain and report basic patient physiological data (vital signs, weight, skin condition).
• Assist with hygiene, mobility, comfort, and ADLs per procedure.
• Monitor intake/output and document accordingly.
• Identify and report changes to licensed staff promptly.
• Organize patient care and prioritize tasks per physician and nurse orders.
• Perform various procedures within the unit assistant scope and report patient response.
