The University of Pittsburgh Department of Otolaryngology and Pittsburgh Hearing Research Center (PHRC) invites applications for a full-time, tenure-stream faculty position at Associate Professor or Professor level. We seek leaders in hearing research advancing mechanistic understanding or diagnosis and treatment of hearing loss.

Qualified candidates hold a PhD in neuroscience, molecular biology, biochemistry, data science, or related fields and exhibit an established independent research

Qualifications

• PhD in one of the listed fields is required.
• Established, vigorous independent research program in hearing or related disorders preferred.
• Candidates with leadership credentials and strong translational potential are highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead and advance an independently funded hearing research program.
• Collaborate across neuroscience, clinical, and translational teams within Pitt.
• Contribute to the Pittsburgh Hearing Institute and mentor trainees and junior faculty.
