University of North Texas – Denton invites applications for a 9-month, tenure-track Assistant Professor of Pediatric Audiology beginning Fall 2027. A Ph.D.

in audiology, communication sciences and disorders, or related field is required. The successful candidate will build an externally funded pediatric audiology research program, teach graduate and undergraduate courses, mentor students, publish in top journals, and collaborate across disciplines to improve outcomes in hearing and balance

Qualifications

• Holds a terminal degree in audiology or related field or equivalent experience.
• Experience conducting pediatric clinical or translational research.
• Strong record of scholarly publications.
• Interest in interdisciplinary collaborations and teaching excellence.

Responsabilités

• Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in audiology.
• Mentor undergraduate and graduate student researchers.
• Publish in peer‑reviewed journals and present findings at conferences.
• Collaborate with faculty across disciplines to advance research and clinical care.
• Contribute to curriculum development, accreditation activities, and departmental governance.
