Job summary

The University of North Texas invites applications for a 9-month, tenure-track assistant professor of pediatric audiology to begin in Fall 2027. A Ph.D. in audiology, communication sciences and disorders, or related field is preferred.

The ideal candidate will advance prevention, identification, assessment, and treatment of hearing and balance disorders in children, build an externally funded research program, and contribute to teaching and mentoring the next generation of audiologists.

Qualifications

• Terminal degree in audiology or related field, or equivalent applied experience.
• Eligibility for tenure-track appointment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and sustain an externally funded research program in pediatric audiology or related area.
• Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in audiology.
• Mentor undergraduate and graduate student researchers.
• Publish in peer‑reviewed journals and present at conferences.
• Contribute to curriculum development, accreditation, and department governance.
