Job summary
The Department of Otolaryngology and the Pittsburgh Hearing Research Center (PHRC) at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine are recruiting a leader in hearing research for a full-time, tenure-stream faculty position at the Associate Professor or Professor level. We welcome candidates who advance mechanistic understanding of hearing, and/or work on diagnosis or treatment of hearing loss.
Exceptional Assistant Professor candidates with emerging leadership profiles will be considered;
Qualifications
- PhD in neuroscience, molecular biology, biochemistry, cognitive/neural systems, computational science, bioengineering or related fields.
- Established independent research program focused on hearing, hearing loss, or related disorders.
- Leading a translational or mechanistic hearing research agenda is highly desirable.
