Job summary

Starkey Retail (a wholly owned subsidiary of Starkey Laboratories) offers a trainee role to learn hearing aid fittings, service, and sales, withTeleHear patient remote services and a sponsorship program to obtain licensure where required.

Trainees work with sponsors and may travel for practicum hours, shadow experienced specialists, and receive materials paid by Starkey as part of comprehensive training.

Qualifications

• High school required; college degree preferred or equivalent work history in a healthcare or technical field.
• Bachelor’s in Speech and Hearing Sciences/Communication Disorders ideal.

Responsibilities

• Provide Patient Journey Experience through counseling and instruction.
• Learn to conduct patient diagnostics and comprehensive hearing evaluations.
• Train with licensed specialists and audiologists on difficult fittings and practicum hours.
• Learn Starkey product line and programming of hearing instruments; travel to training events may be required.
• Work with TeleHear to train and serve patients remotely.
