Job summary

Starkey Retail (Northland Hearing Centers, Inc.) is seeking a Hearing Instrument Sales Specialist Trainee. You will be trained in fittings, service/repairs, product knowledge, and patient counseling, with remote capabilities through TeleHear.

A dispensing license will be pursued with sponsorship and support to meet state requirements. Expect practicum hours, diagnostics training, and travel to regional Starkey sites.

Qualifications

• High school required; college degree preferred or equivalent experience in healthcare or technical field.
• Bachelor’s in Speech and Hearing Sciences/Communication Disorders ideal.

Responsibilities

• Learn to conduct patient diagnostics and comprehensive hearing evaluations.
• Train in fitting, servicing, and repairing hearing instruments and accessories.
• Develop sales skills and TeleHear-based patient interactions remotely.
• Travel to Starkey training events and work with area specialists as needed.
