Job summary

Hear Wright, Inc. is seeking an Apprentice as part of the HearingLife Apprenticeship Program to become a licensed Hearing Care Provider. The role combines virtual and in-person training with hands-on clinical practice under a licensed Preceptor.

The program includes clinical skills checks, licensing exam preparation, and ongoing development to ensure competency for independent patient care once licensed. Candidates should have a high school diploma and a driver’s license.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of general full-time work experience, preferably in patient care.
• Understanding of HIPAA privacy obligations relating to patient information.
• High school diploma and a valid driver’s license; some states require an Associate’s Degree.
• Functional use of Microsoft Office and familiarity with patient relationship management systems.

Responsibilities

• Exhibits friendly and courteous behavior in all customer interactions and builds rapport.
• Maintains schedule and regular touch points with patients and learners.
• Support hands-on clinical practice under supervision to develop skills.
• Assist in fitting and dispensing hearing instruments and provide follow-up care.
