Job summary

HearingLife offers an Apprenticeship Program designed to train individuals to become Hearing Care Providers. The program combines virtual and in‑person classroom learning, hands‑on labs, and mentored clinic practice to prepare you for clinical certification and licensure.

The Apprentice Learning Plan tracks progress with monthly skill development, weekly hours, andPeriodic meetings with the Clinical Training Team, culminating in licensure exams and independent patient care.

Qualifications

• At least 0–2 years of general full‑time work experience in patient care or healthcare‑focused setting.
• Understanding of HIPAA privacy obligations relating to patient information and records.
• Minimum of a high school diploma; a valid driver’s license; some states may require an Associate’s Degree.

Responsibilities

• Exhibits friendly, courteous behavior in all patient interactions and builds rapport.
• Maintain clinic schedule and regular touch points with patients.
• Conduct tympanometry and otoscopic examinations within scope of practice.
• Perform pure tone air and bone conduction tests with/without masking.
• Provide amplification fitting, follow‑up care, and patient counseling.
