Responsibilities

• Conduct quasi-judicial hearings with interested parties and their counsel: place witnesses under oath, question witnesses, record hearings, admit/exclude evidence, and handle cross-examination.
• Review exhibits and prepare for hearing by addressing pertinent issues.
• Prepare written decisions or orders applying the law and precedents.
• Study precedent decisions to inform decisions.

What you will do:

• Study precedent decisions in similar cases as a guide for making decisions.
