Job summary

The City of Cleveland is seeking a Project Coordinator for the Home Energy Assistance Program (HEAP). This part-time grant-funded position focuses on planning, administering, and supervising project activities to benefit eligible clients and community partners.

The role includes budgeting support, reporting, and coordinating with city departments to ensure service delivery. A driver’s license is required, and a bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business or Public Administration, Social Sciences, or closely related field preferred.
• Two years of any equivalent combination of education, training and experience in program administration required.
• Must be able to lift and carry thirty pounds.
• Valid State of Ohio Driver's License required.

Responsibilities

• Plan and administer a specific project or program for a City department.
• Serve as administrative supervisor on projects or programs.
• Monitor operating budgets and assist in annual budget preparation.
• Prepare financial and narrative reports and program applications.
• Communicate project status to municipal officials and other entities.
• May supervise employees assigned to the project.
