Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Software Development Engineer for its Underwriting Technology team. You will architect, design, and deliver scalable, secure solutions supporting CVS Health's PBM business as an individual contributor.

You will collaborate to define roadmaps and move ideas from prototype to production in a fast-paced environment, bringing passion and technical excellence to the team. A Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of development experience with Java, Python, Angular or Kotlin, plus

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in systems analysis and application development.
• At least 1 year of development experience in Java, Python, Angular or Kotlin.
• 1+ year doing Agile software development.
• 1+ year building enterprise and technical solutions.
• 1+ year experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• 1+ year experience using AI LLM models (Gemina, Claude).

Responsibilities

• Partner with peers and technical leaders to define product strategy and roadmap.
• Provide technical excellence and become a trusted expert on key initiatives.
• Develop mindshare by collaborating and discussing ideas.
• Plot and execute from prototype to production for capabilities and features.
