Job summary

Fathers of St Edmund, Southern Missions, Inc. in Selma, AL, seeks a Program Leader to oversee HealthLink operations, including RxAssist, diabetes and nutrition programs, and senior voucher enrollment.

The role coordinates clinical partners, ensures grant deliverables, and drives program quality across education, outreach, and data reporting. You will supervise staff, manage budgets, and partner with Lions Eye Clinic and other providers.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in social work, public health education, nonprofit management or related field; comparable experience may be considered.
  • Current CPR certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.
  • Minimum of three years in community-based social services, public health education, nonprofit programming, or care coordination.
  • Ability to work effectively with healthcare providers and community partners; clinical expertise not required.
  • Experience supervising staff with clear priorities, workflows, and performance expectations.
  • Proficiency with case-management, program-data, or client-record databases; MS Office or Google Workspace; accurate electronic documentation.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills; ability to move programs from planning to evaluation.
  • Demonstrated grant-management experience, coordinating deliverables and tracking outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Lead all HealthLink operations including RxAssist, diabetes, A1C and blood pressure programs, nutrition and chronic disease education.
  • Oversee HealthLink education, medication assistance, grant deliverables and community services; coordinate sister programs like Doc-On-the-Spot.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational and funder requirements; coordinate with licensed clinical partners on records and compliance.
  • Capture and track program data to monitor reach, quality, outcomes, grant performance, and improvements.
  • Provide oversight for Doc-On-the-Spot clinic and visiting specialty clinics; administrative coordination only.
