Job summary

Freeman Health System is seeking a Workday Program Director to provide enterprise leadership for strategy, governance, delivery, optimization, and long-term value realization of the Workday platform across our healthcare network.

This senior role partners with executive sponsors, clinical and operational leaders, shared services, technology teams, implementation partners, and other stakeholders to ensure Workday supports patient-care operations, workforce effectiveness, financial stewardship,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, business, finance, HR, supply chain, healthcare administration, or related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
• 5+ years of progressive leadership in enterprise applications, digital transformation, ERP, PM programs.
• Experience with multiple Workday domains such as HCM, Financial Management, SCM, Payroll, reporting, security, integrations, or data conversion.
• Proven success leading complex programs with executive stakeholders, clinical and operational partners, cross-functional teams, and external vendors.
• Strong governance, financial management, risk management, vendor management, delivery methodologies, and benefits realization.
• Experience operating in a complex, regulated healthcare environment with 24/7 operations and shared services.

Responsibilities

• Lead multi-year Workday roadmap, investment priorities, operating model, and measurable outcomes.
• Chair steering committees; provide transparent reporting on scope, schedule, budget, quality, risks, and benefits.
• Direct implementations, expansions, acquisitions, onboarding, releases, and optimization work.
• Oversee integrations and data flows between Workday and EHR, IAM, timekeeping, payroll, and other platforms.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and maintain accountability across entities.
