Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Warehouse Associate in Navicent's Supply & Distribution team. The role supports patient care by efficiently pulling, packing, and delivering medical supplies; maintaining inventory accuracy and inventory-handling safety.

You will operate a forklift, use handheld devices, and help ensure timely restocking while upholding infection control guidelines. The position requires 40 hours per week with alternating weekend shifts and a HS diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; ability to pass a basic written exam.
• Minimum 1 year in a customer service role; warehouse/distribution experience preferred.
• Lift Truck (forklift) Safety Course preferred and/or required within six months.

Responsibilities

• Understand daily Supply & Distribution operations and assist patient-care needs.
• Review daily work schedules and fulfill assignments with minimal supervision.
• Enter inventory data into handheld devices and update records in EHS.
• Pick items from tickets, load carts, deliver and restock as needed.
• Maintain area cleanliness, orderliness, and appearance per supervisor inspection.
• Report issues to Team Leader affecting operations and patient care.
• Pull inventory accurately from Distribution Center; assist with transfers.
• Communicate changes to Nursing Directors and relay information to Team Leader.
