Job summary

UnityPoint Health is hiring a Health Unit Assistant to provide essential administrative and clerical support within a healthcare unit. The role requires strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

The HUA acts as a central contact for staff, patients, families, and other departments, assisting with patient flow and unit activities. Shifts rotate between Day and PM, totaling 16 hours weekly, with e/o weekend and holiday rotation.

Qualifications

• Exceptional Customer Service skills.
• Proficiency with electronic medical record systems and basic computer applications.
• Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
