Responsibilities

• Answer calls to the Transfer Center and determine the caller's needs.
• Capture caller demographics and relevant information in patient software.
• Triage patient care problems and provide appropriate instructions.
• Coordinate with facilities, physicians and departments for patient transport.
• Serve as liaison representing the center to the public.
