Job summary

Epic seeks aTrainer to lead in-person and virtual training for physicians, nurses, and other healthcare users, as well as our staff, on the Madison, WI campus. You will drive instructional design, develop training materials and scenarios, and deliver sessions. The role involves shaping user experiences, collaborating with teams, and supporting transitions to Epic.

Relocation to the Madison area is reimbursed; travel will be required as part of training engagements.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or higher required.
Willingness to travel 25–60% of working days with occasional multi-day trips.
Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
Relocation to Madison, WI area required (reimbursed).
COVID-19 vaccination required or preferred per policy.

Responsibilities

Lead in-person and virtual training sessions for physicians, nurses, and other healthcare users, as well as staff.
Be the first point of contact for staff and users and shape their experience as they transition to Epic.
Develop training materials and scenarios from instructional design to delivery.
Design workflow-based training content and work with organizations to develop their training.
Contribute to projects to improve Epic software usability.
