Job summary

Epic is seeking a Trainer for its Madison-area campus. You will lead in-person and virtual training for physicians, nurses, and healthcare staff, guiding their transition to Epic and improving patient care outcomes.

Responsibilities span instructional design, training material development, and collaboration with organizations to tailor content. The role emphasizes teamwork, travel, and contributing to a highly capable training community.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or greater.
Prior education, teaching, or performance experience preferred.
A history of academic and professional success.
Willingness to travel 25-60% of working days, with a typical month including 1-2 trips lasting 2-4 days.
Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
Relocation to the Madison, WI area (reimbursed).
COVID-19 vaccination.

Responsibilities

Lead in-person and virtual training sessions for physicians, nurses, and other healthcare users.
Be the first point of contact for staff and users, shaping their Epic transition experience.
Develop training materials and scenarios to be delivered.
Collaborate with organizations to develop their training and design workflow-based content.
Work on projects to make Epic software more intuitive.
