Job summary

The Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) invites applications for the Training Coordinator role at San Antonio State Hospital. Qualifications

• Knowledge of patient care techniques and treatment programs.
• Knowledge of training procedures/techniques.
• Skills in preparing training classes.
• Skills in using computer-based programs such as Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and other software programs.
• Clinical skills in recording vital signs, using mechanical lifts, and Activities of Daily Living (ADL).

Responsibilities

• Attends work regularly and may be asked to work a specific shift schedule or rotating shift.
• Plans, organizes, and conducts training programs in group or online formats.
• Maintains training records and databases to track compliance.
• Delivers New Employee Orientation and refresher training.
• Ensures training aligns with agency standards and safety requirements.
