Job summary

Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) in San Antonio is seeking a Training and Development Specialist II to design, coordinate, and deliver comprehensive training programs for state hospital staff. Qualifications

• Associate’s degree required or equivalent teaching experience.
• One (1) year of teaching professionally or 18 months of direct patient care experience preferred.
• CPR, First Aid, and TIPS certifications preferred; may require within 6 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and conduct training programs for state hospital staff.
• Trains new employees during New Employee Orientation (NEO) and refresher training.
• Maintain training records and databases; ensure compliance with required training.
