Job summary

Epic is seeking a Trainer for our Madison, Wisconsin campus, with relocation provided. You will lead in-person and virtual training sessions for physicians, nurses, and healthcare staff, shaping their transition to Epic and helping save lives.

You will handle instructional design and create training materials and scenarios, collaborating with teams to design workflow-based content and improve the software’s usability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or greater (any major).
• Prior education, teaching, or performance experience preferred.
• Willingness to travel 25-60% of working days, with a typical month including 1-2 trips lasting 2-4 days.
• Relocation to the Madison, WI area (reimbursed).
• Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• COVID-19 vaccination.

Responsibilities

• Lead in-person and virtual training sessions for physicians, nurses, and other healthcare users in addition to our own staff.
• Develop training materials and scenarios from instructional design to delivery.
• Design workflow-based training content and collaborate with organizations to develop their training.
• Work with teams on projects to make Epic software more intuitive.
