Epic in Madison, WI seeks an energetic Trainer to lead in-person and virtual training for physicians, nurses, and other healthcare users, guiding staff through Epic software and improving patient care.

Relocation to the Madison area is reimbursed; travel up to 25-60% may be required. You will design training materials and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance workflows and software usability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or greater (any major).
• Prior education, teaching, or performance experience preferred.
• A history of academic and professional success.
• Willingness to travel 25-60% of working days, with a typical month including 1-2 trips lasting 2-4 days.
• Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• Relocation to the Madison, WI area (reimbursed).
• COVID-19 vaccination.

Responsibilities

• Lead in-person and virtual training sessions for physicians, nurses, and other healthcare users, and for Epic staff.
• Be the first point of contact for staff and users and shape their experience as they transition to Epic.
• Involve in the training process from instructional design to training materials and scenarios you deliver.
• Work in teams to design workflow-based training content and develop training with organizations to improve usability of the software.
• Contribute to projects to make Epic software more intuitive.
