Job summary

Epic, based near Madison, Wisconsin, seeks a Trainer to lead both in-person and virtual sessions for physicians, nurses, and healthcare users, including staff. You will design training materials and run the full training lifecycle to ensure a smooth transition to Epic systems.

The role involves travel, collaboration with cross‑functional teams, and opportunities to contribute to software usability improvements. Relocation support is provided, with strong focus on patient care impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or greater (any major).
• Prior education, teaching, or performance experience preferred.
• A history of academic and professional success.
• Willingness to travel 25-60% of working days, with a typical month including 1-2 trips lasting 2-4 days.
• Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• Relocation to the Madison, WI area (reimbursed).
• COVID-19 vaccination.

Responsibilities

• Lead in-person and virtual training sessions for physicians, nurses, and other healthcare users, as well as our own staff.
• Shape the training experience from instructional design to developing training materials and scenarios.
• Work with organizations to design workflow-based training content and improve Epic software usability.
• Collaborate with tight-knit teams to deliver comprehensive training programs.
