Job summary

NYC Health + Hospitals is seeking a Tour Coordinator to assist in oversight within Central Operations and clinics. You will coordinate daily operational tasks, handle requests, and support clinical staffing updates under supervision.

Responsibilities include planning objectives, training programs, and ensuring smooth patient flow, with a focus on data entry, reporting, and interdepartmental communication.

Qualifications

• Requires a degree in a related field and several years of health care program planning, research, design, operation, evaluation or analysis.
• Demonstrated skills in written and oral communication.
• Experience in health care facility operations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning daily operational objectives with the Tour Supervisor and clinical staff to coordinate patient and management objectives.
• Assist in planning development and may conduct training programs to maintain personnel proficiency and procedures.
• Act as intermediary between Central Operations and DOC to ensure patient production for health care services.
• Monitor patient production and conduct regular visits to clinic areas to ensure proper patient flow and flag delays.
• Perform data entry and retrieval of records, lists, and statistical information; review reports for accuracy and resolve deficiencies; compile data and prepare charts and reports.
• Provide administrative supervision for a health service program of professional and non-professional staff.
