Job summary

GBMC HealthCare, situated in Towson, MD, is seeking a System Analyst to support ERP and related systems under supervision. The role emphasizes healthcare-specific business processes, data analysis, and lifecycle support, with strong communication to educate users and align with senior team guidance.

You will help deliver solutions, mentor juniors, and ensure quality control across projects while maintaining adherence to established policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or closely related field or applicable experience.
• 4 years’ experience with support software applications; healthcare setting preferred.
• 4 years’ experience in software development/engineering, data analysis, scripting.
• Previous role in implementation/support of a similar application/suite.
• Project management of small projects – <3 months.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate user groups, prepare meetings, collect feedback, prioritize requests and provide status updates.
• Propose system solutions to address business problems and educate users about options and timelines.
• Ensure changes follow change control for quality and avoid issues.
• Serve as primary liaison to MIS vendor(s) and users for application changes.
• Identify gaps between user needs and MIS resources to support business payback.
• Resolve technical issues on assigned applications in a timely manner.
• Manage projects to defined timelines and budgets using standard tools.
• Mentor team members and users in application/technical areas.
