Job summary

Liberty Hospital is seeking a System Administrator I to design, implement, maintain, and support server‑level enterprise applications and medical devices. You will assist other IT groups, coordinate system upgrades, and ensure secure, compliant systems that support patient care.

The role emphasizes end-to-end system knowledge, collaboration with Radiology, Lab, and Pharmacy teams, and maintaining robust documentation and backups to meet regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer and Information Science or 2:1 equivalent.
• 3+ years in a related Information Systems field.
• Preferred ITIL, Windows/Linux admin certifications.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a Tier-II support resource and coordinate with IT teams.
• Act as escalation point for system issues with TRC and vendors.
• Maintain usable systems and resolve issues within SLAs.
• Document system configurations, contacts, and troubleshooting tips.
• Plan and coordinate system upgrades and backups following DR/HA practices.
• Protect assets and data with access control and regulatory compliance.
• Verify logs, retention, and data integrity; support interfaces and reports.
• Work with vendors and internal teams to ensure smooth operation.
