Job summary

Methodist Hospital is seeking a Supply Chain Technician to receive, key, and distribute supplies, while maintaining Min/Max stock levels and performing regular inventories across storerooms and point-of-use areas. The role includes ensuring accurate barcoding, timely deliveries, and support for POU operations.

The ideal candidate will have a High School/GED, with preference for prior stock clerk or hospital supply experience, contributing to patient care by keeping supplies flowing efficiently

Qualifications

• High School Graduate / GED required.
• Previous stock clerk experience preferred.
• Some hospital supply experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver supplies within the facility in an accurate and timely manner.
• Key receiving into the SMART system and deliver to appropriate departments.
• Review Min/Max levels for storeroom safety stock and place orders as needed.
• Count par levels in POU areas weekly.
• Ensure POU items have proper barcodes.
• Perform QA checks and rotate stock to prevent obsolescence.
• Assist POU Station personnel and resolve issues at nurses stations.
