Central Sterilizing Services seeks a full-time Support Technician I (Supply Chain Tech I) on 2nd shift, scheduled Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM. Two positions are available at the Medical Center Downtown location in Iowa City and at the North Liberty Campus.

The role oversees all support duties, including bi-weekly disposable supply orders, instrument tracking, tray optimization, and collaboration with nurses and CSS Operations to ensure timely availability of supplies and instruments for

Qualifikationen

• One year of related supply management experience (receiving, warehousing or distribution).
• Valid driver’s license as required.
• Experience in sterile processing environment preferred.

• Develop and deliver training to new staff.
• Oversee daily medical-surgical supply chain operations.
• Inspect item expiration dates to maintain inventory quality.
• Assist nurses and healthcare staff to anticipate urgent needs.
• Manage medical-surgical inventory and par levels.
• Monitor and audit inventory ordering and accuracy.
• Resolve supply chain disruptions using data reports.
• Maintain accuracy of electronic inventory systems.
