Job summary

Providence Swedish seeks a Manager, Materials Management Operations to oversee local supply chain operations, including inventory, warehousing, and logistics, and to drive strategic OSCM initiatives in coordination with regional leadership.

The role requires 8+ years in SCM, with 4 years in leadership, and a Bachelor's in a related field. Strong emphasis on process improvement, change management, and cross-functional collaboration across clinical and operational teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare, Business, or Logistics/SCM or equivalent education/experience
• 8 years of SCM experience with 4 years in a healthcare setting
• 4 years in a Director/Manager/Supervisory leadership role
• Experience creating and executing strategic plans for highly complex issues
• Healthcare business operations and/or financial management experience in healthcare
• Experience standardizing complex processes
• Experience in process improvement/change management in complex systems

Responsibilities

• Oversee all local supply chain operations including Distribution/Receiving/Materials Operations/Warehousing/Pars/Inventory
• Direct supply chain staff and manage local vendor relationships
• Lead OSCM Operations and Logistics integration initiatives with stakeholders
• Execute strategic plans for OSCM Operations and Logistics initiatives
• Ensure a compliant, effective OSCM operating experience at Swedish
• Lead system and region contract implementation, conversion and compliance efforts
