Job summary

Providence Swedish Edmonds is seeking a Manager of Materials Management Operations to lead the OSCM and Logistics integration and execution at the local level. You will oversee all inventory and logistics functions, manage staff, and coordinate with executives, clinicians, and regional teams to ensure a compliant, efficient OSCM experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare, Business, or Logistics/Supply Chain Management or equivalent education/experience is required.
• 8 years of Supply Chain Management experience with 4 years in a healthcare setting.
• 4 years of Supply Chain Management experience in a Director/Manager/Supervisory level leadership role.
• Experience creating and successfully executing strategic plans for highly complex issues.
• Healthcare business operations and/or financial management experience in a healthcare setting.
• Experience standardizing complex and disparate processes.
• Experience in process improvement methodology, change management, operational improvement in complex systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee local supply chain operations and logistics functions (Distribution/Receiving/Materials Operations/Warehousing/Pars/Inventory).
• Direct supply chain operations staff and manage local vendor relationships.
• Serve as the Supply Chain champion and liaison to executives, department directors, managers, clinicians and physicians.
• Lead OSCM Operations and Logistics strategic integration initiatives and programs.
• Ensure a compliant, effective and streamlined OSCM experience at Swedish.
• Lead efforts for system and region contract implementation, conversion and compliance.
