Job summary

Boston Medical Center is seeking a Supply Chain Coordinator to support strategic initiatives across the organization. The role focuses on optimizing inventory management, product utilization, and ordering processes while balancing clinical quality and fiscal accountability.

The position collaborates with leadership and clinical stakeholders to analyze data, drive process improvements, and oversee procurement practices.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required. 3-5 years’ experience in healthcare supply chain procurement, inventory management, or similar.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Certifications such as CPIM, CMRP, CPSM are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Engages with leadership to monitor and report key inventory and performance metrics.
• Participates in inventory management activities to maintain accuracy and optimize stocking levels.
• Leads and supports supply chain improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
• Provides oversight for non-stock and specialty ordering processes.
• Collaborates on product conversions, standardization, and cost-savings initiatives.
• Coordinates product issue management, recalls, and root cause analysis.
• Acts as liaison between Supply Chain Operations and clinical departments.
• Executes special projects to support goals and priorities.
• Provides cross-functional backup to maintain continuity of operations.
